NEXT LEVEL BURGER Opens First San Francisco Location

The “OG” of Plant-Based Fast Casual Continues National Expansion with Potrero Hill Opening

San Francisco, Calif. Aug. 24, 2018 -- America’s first 100 percent plant-based burger joint, Next Level Burger (NLB), today celebrates the grand opening of its first San Francisco location. The new restaurant joins the recently opened location in Concord, Calif. as the brand’s second California-based location; its seventh overall. The highly anticipated fast-casual phenomenon is located inside the Potrero Hill Whole Foods Market at 450 Rhode Island St. San Francisco, CA 94107.

Founded in 2014 by husband and wife duo Cierra and Matt de Gruyter, Next Level Burger was born in Bend, Oregon. In just four years, NLB has built an out-of-this-world fan base and established a strong following throughout the Pacific Northwest, NYC and the Bay Area.

“We are so jazzed to bring Next Level Burger to San Francisco! We already feel at home in NorCal, with our location in the East Bay, so it's a natural next step to throw down some NLB burger awesomeness in the epic neighborhood of Potrero Hill,” said Matt de Gruyter, co-founder and CEO.
